Eligibility Criteria for Admission

FOLLOWING ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA WILL BE FOLLOWED DURING FALL - 2021 ADMISSIONS:

Candidates awaiting result shall be allowed to apply for admission. Admission confirmation shall be made on the production of complete result of HSSC/A levels. In case of failure of requirement the admission shall be stand cancelled.

MPhil/MS

MSc/ BS (4 Years) or equivalent (Min. 16 years of education) in relevant discipline from HEC recognized institution with minimum 2nd div in Annual System or 2.5 CGPA in Semester System in the last degree. List of relevant discipline is available at NDU Website.

Candidates must submit MA/MSc/BS (relevent) degree.

Candidates submitting HEC attested last degree will be given preference.

NDU-GAT(General)or Valid Result of NTS- GAT (General for social Science). Mandatory Mandatory

3.

PhD

MPhil/MS or equivalent (Min. 17/18 years of education*) in relevant discipline from HEC recognized institution with minimum 1st division in Annual System or 3.00/4 CGPA in Semester system in the last degree.

Candidates must submit MS/MPhil HEC attested (relevant) degree.

 

Preference will be given to candidates submitting research based degrees.

NTS-GAT (Subject) Business Administration for LMS only.

Note: Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate from IBCC & HEC with the application form.

* Candidates having foreign certificates / degrees are required to submit HEC equivalence with minimum 17/18 years of education along with letter grades conversion to numerical marks / CGPA certificate from respective University for consideration of merit calculation. Applications without numerical rating shall be evaluated with minimum required criteria that is 60% for Annual and 3.0/4.0 for semester based degree..

BS Programs:

Local Boards/ Universities Candidates:

Local Board Candidates applying for BS Program while waiting for the announcement of their HSSC/A Level (Part- I* or Part-II) result (s) may be admitted provisionally on basis of SSC or Equivalent results, upon production of Hope Certificate duly signed by the Head of Institution confirming the appearance of candidate in HSSC examinations and hope to secure over 60% score. The candidates have to deposit an Affidavit** that they will have to submit their mark sheet before Mid-term examination.
Merit shall be determined on basis of SSC Score, Entry Test and Interview.

International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)/ A’ Levels Candidates:

Candidates applying for BS program while waiting for the announcement of their A’ Level (Part 2) result will be admitted provisionally on the basis of A’s (subsidiary level/clearing all 3 compulsory subjects). However, NDU will calculate their merit on basis of the (official) grade Sheet of A’s level (as per numerical marks determined by IBCC). IBCC equivalence of O’ levels must be provided in any case.

Admitted Candidates shall be required to submit IBCC equivalence for A’ levels within 4 weeks after commencement of classes failing which their provisional admission will be cancelled.

  • MS/MPhil & PhD candidates are required to submit their official transcript and relevant degree with admission form.

  • PhD candidates are required to submit their HEC attested relevant degree (MS/M.Phil or equivalent) with admission form.

Com, BBA/BS- Leadership and Management/, Public Administration (4 Years), ICMA and CA and MA/MSc/ BS (4 Years) or equivalent (Min. 16 years of non-business/management education) in Humanities/Social ad Natural & applied Sciences.

Candidates with non-business/management background shall be required to undertake prescribed deficiency courses of 30-36 credit hours at BS level before starting formal course work of MPhil LMS degree program.

PhD LMS
